Hello blogosphere! I finally got around to making some bracelets tonight. After a skinny margarita (and a half), I was feeling it. ABOUT TIME! I need to get over this creative block issue if I am going to really take off with this bracelet making… I’m thinking it could potentially be a problem. Maybe I need skinny margs every night? Let’s go with that.
At any rate, new bracelets are on the market. Now to get them OFF the market, so I can replenish my bead stash 🙂
Welcome to my office. Tonight, Idol. I’m seriously missing Steven Tyler.
And here are the finished goods!
Now I am off to what promises to be a VERY late night of cleaning and coming up with a delicious, low-cal dessert to make for my man for our 8-month anniversary date tomorrow night. Ideas welcomed! BEad Happy my friends!
My name is Stephanie and I am your average 23 year-old girl, trying to find my way in life. I have been out of school for about 2 years and have recently left a job in corporate America in the hopes of finding something that I can honestly say brings me joy. In the past month or so, that thing has turned out to be making jewelry, namely, AWESOME stretchy bracelets. I know what you are thinking (well, I know what my dad is thinking)… Will becoming a starving artist really bring you that much joy? While being a tie-dye wearing, late-rising, free-spirited hippie bead lady may not be the most realistic career path, I am seizing the opportunity to try it out… while also seeking part-time employment that actually provides an income.
With this blog, I am hoping to accomplish a few things. Obviously, I think that I should be the most sought-after source for stretch bracelets in this great country of ours. Potentially the world. Here’s to hoping that WordPress is the ultimate secret to success! In addition to becoming world-famous, I am also looking forward to discovering a little something about myself along the way. I hope to make at least one person laugh, cry or decide to unleash their own creative genius on my journey to discover the way to truly BEad Happy.
